Hi Jamie, I was the UOVA Rep for the tournament today. I drove 70 miles to play. The decision to cancel wasn’t made until about 8 am. I checked with Edd, the Tournament Director, when he made the decision to cancel and he said he had phone numbers and would call to let people know it was canceled. I will pass on your comments to the rest of the Board. You are welcome to call Ogden Rec to let them know of your disappointment as well, so they feel the consequences of canceling so late.

We drove 50 miles to play in this tournament and no one notified me that it was cancelled! It would have been nice to get a phone call or even on the website stating that it was cancelled! I will never play in this tournament again!!

If you are a UOVA Member, or plan to sign up for UOVA at this Tourney, call 801-629-8253 to register, or register in person to get the UOVA discount. Ogden’s online registration is wonky and will likely just frustrate you. UOVA is not responsible for broken keyboards, monitors, etc.

Ooooh, I cant wait. Just tell me why Alpine school district put spring break on this same weekend. Do you think that watching your parents play in an outdoor volleyball tournament counts as a spring break vaca???
